Each project we work on is separated into three distinct stages. This allows clients a complete oversight of the design process as well as a full understanding of the fees involved.
Stage 1 - Briefing
This initial meeting is an opportunity for clients to share some ideas and establish the beginnings of a working relationship with our studio. At this stage of the process, no fees are charged and no commitment is necessary.
Stage 2 - Research
For this stage, the studio creates an in-depth, creative response to our initial discussion. We present full design concepts, which include sketches, concept mood boards and sample materials. From here we narrow down the preferred choices, in keeping with your budget, in order to begin with the final stage of the design.
Stage 3 - Design
During this phase, we will further develop the design concept and provide interior design work to the contractors. Also, if our design work needs to be made by specialist contractors, such as e.g. an external joinery team, this is reviewed and signed off. We regularly secure trade prices and discounts on furniture, decorative lighting, furnishing, as well as artwork. All items sourced by us are subject to a purchasing design fee. For example, if we source an item for a project, we charge a handling fee for the time we spent sourcing the product, negotiating the best trade price and for the organisation regarding delivery of the item. We also provide a service to follow up on the work until completion, which is charged separately and at an hourly rate. We work on a range of projects, which vary in size and scale. Services can readily be tailored to our clients’ needs so do not hesitate to discuss your project further with us.
